Strengthening National Cyber Resilience

Cybersecurity was also among the key topics discussed during INTI 2026. On the third day of the event, Nugroho Sulistyo Budi, Head of the National Cyber and Cryptography Agency (BSSN), delivered a keynote speech highlighting the growing importance of strengthening Indonesia’s cyber resilience amid the rapid adoption of digital technologies and AI.

In his presentation, Nugroho emphasized several strategic priorities, including the development of secure and resilient digital infrastructure, the implementation of security by design and resilience by architecture, the strengthening of a trusted digital ecosystem, the development of cybersecurity talent and technological capabilities, as well as adaptive governance and regulations.

These efforts are increasingly important as Indonesia’s digital transformation continues to accelerate. Resilient infrastructure, competent human resources, a trusted digital ecosystem, and adaptive governance are key foundations for ensuring that technological development can progress securely and sustainably.
