The Metabolic Institute of America (TMIOA) was founded in response to the growing global epidemic of obesity, diabetes, multiple metabolic disorders, and ASCVD. It was created by Dr. Yehuda Handelsman, MD to primarily assist with and take over the administrative aspects of non-profit and research organizations.
