Where the heart kidney, and diabetes meet in clinical practice.

The Heart in Diabetes (HiD) brings multi-specialty world-renowned leaders in diabetes, obesity, and cardiorenal metabolic diseases interpreting state-of-the-art clinical data to improve the care of the complex patients with these comorbidities. 

This year, the conference will focus on incorporating emerging data including clinical trial outcomes into clinical practice.  Emphasis will be given on implementing Guidelines Directed to Medical Treatment, addressing when and how to intervene early- to prevent and manage morbidities in patients with Diabetes, cardiorenal, and metabolic diseases. The program will mix didactic presentations with cross-specialty panels with leading experts in cardiology, nephrology, endocrinology, and primary care experts. The interactive discussions allow ample time for Q&A, addressing treatment modalities, and implications to practice providing tools to ultimately improve the outcome of these patients.
